Call for Posters: Research Club Sponsors Medical Student Symposium on May 1

The Boonshoft School of Medicine Student Research Club will host the first ever Medical Student Research Symposium on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00pm to 7:30 p.m. in WSU White Hall. All WSU medical students are invited to present posters on their current or past work. Posters will be judged and cash prizes given for each department. The deadline for poster submission is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27. The Medical Student Research Symposium is an opportunity to share your research with physicians, residents, and other medical students in a stimulating and convivial setting. Please plan to participate! Email Jessica Hoying (hoying.16@wright.edu) if you have a poster to enter.

OVALS Conference Comes to Dayton April 2

OVALS logoThe 7th Annual Ohio Valley Affiliates for Life Sciences (OVALS) Conference will be held April 2-3, 2009, in Dayton, Ohio. This conference is a must for anyone interested in commercialization of new life sciences technologies, collaboration opportunities, and creating economic impact. The OVALS Conference is an important forum for exposure to the thinking of national leaders, opening up strategic dialogues, expanding opportunity, and networking. 5:00-7:30 p.m. (Apollo Room) – This year’s Forum features our largest poster session and reception ever with 67 posters and 7 exhibits. See the list of posters (MWS Word file). Join your colleagues in a convivial, stimulating setting to explore new ideas and future collaborations.
